Australia-Indonesia Youth Exchange Program
TCN is the Australian coordinator of the Australia-Indonesia Youth Exchange Program — an initiative of the Australia Indonesia Institute (Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade).
The program has two main phases in each country: a capital city location, followed by a rural/regional stay. A counterpart system is established between the two groups for the Indonesian stage, in which each Australian is matched with a member of the Indonesian group. The Indonesian participants will arrive in October for the Australian phase of the program starting with a week of orientation before taking up work placements and homestays in Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, and then to a regional town. More...
